Dan McQuade is a New York-based artist who specializes in ceramics, sculpture, and 3D art. His work often stems from an origin surrounding mental health and the human form. Dan's background in practical makeup effects for film and television, has equipped him with the expertise and will to master various sculpting techniques and materials.
As a multidisciplinary artist, Daniel is not afraid to dabble in anything that piques his interest, from sculpture and photography to acting and set design. Dan's motto is "If it exists, I can learn and do it", demonstrating his fearless approach to exploring all art forms, knowing that each technique has something unique to offer.
He often finds the human form fascinating and enjoys taking on the complex challenges that come with recreating it, he believes that in the end the hard work was and will be well worth it and that the same goes for his mental health.
During Daniel's internship, he had the opportunity to learn and work with other talented artists on shows such as Orange is the New Black, The Haunting of Hill House, Daredevil, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and many others.
Dan is also a member of the Screen Actors Guild. You can spot him in the background of multiple shows, one of which is Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, filmed exclusively in the Hudson Valley.
